We recently went on a trip and had to put the dogs in a kennel.  We hate leaving them even for a short time.  We've only had them for a year and they came from a rescue where they had stayed for about six weeks.  It's probably stressful for them to be away from home and they must wonder what is going on and if we're coming back.

A brand new vet opened up near our area so we decided to give their kennel a try.  Here are some pictures of their arrival.  When we left, they didn't get upset at all and when we picked them up, they seemed to have fared well.  Here are some pictures.

After we dropped off Baron and Anka at the kennel, Smokie helped me drive to Grandma's house where she stayed while we were gone.  I have to watch her, she's a little speed demon. :)
